I am a beginner cartoonist and sketch artist. I chiefly use inexpensive pencils and paper to make my cartoons - nothing computer-generated (I use only some contrast/exposure adjustments to make the lines easier to see).
My preferred subjects are vintage/obscure Saturday-morning cartoon and film characters. In addition, I draw furries and other original characters (sometimes on request, but more on that later)!
Most of my drawings are ACEO format. ACEO means 'art card edition: original'. These are little drawings and paintings the size of poker cards, intended for use as gifts/collectables.

My cards are very simple pencil sketches; I do not produce elaborate art, by choice.
Requests: I greatly dislike how most go about asking for art. Most will phrase their request as 'Will you draw X-character?'. My usual reply is 'Doing what?'.
Simply asking me to draw a charater, without any creativity or idea to go with it suggests the person requesting doesn't really want a drawing.
In other words, if one wants a drawing, an idea/suggestion must accompany it. The only exceptions made are for very very close friends.
Any requests must be clean/fit for viewing by children.
Know also that I do not prioritize requests. I draw what I want and when I want to do it. There is no first-come-first-served with me (and I've been known to wait months before beginning a request).
This, moreover, is the great reason why I do not accept commissions.
In other words: please ask someone else unless the art is desired from me specifically.
More about me:
I am a Christian. I believe Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, who died and rose again for man's redemption. I will not argue with anyone on this matter; I've heard/read it all before and to go over it all again wouldn't make any difference to my beliefs.
Most of my work experience has been of the retail/hospitality persuasion.
My hobbies include cartooning (duh!), beer tasting, following mens' designer fashion and Pokemon.
Many like asking 'your-favorite' type questions. I tend to despise these, especially when specificity is denied, but I will answer a few.
Cartoon/anime: I tend to like cartoons based on the style/design of the charaters. In general, I like Nelvana and Warner Bros. designs.
While I have a furry's penchant for cartoon animals and animation, most animation I see on television isn't engaging, and it shouldn't be for one of my age. Even so, I make it a point every once in a while to peruse YouTube for cartoons and films I haven't seen before or just to revisit those of my childhood. Among the latter, I confess to having a soft spot for 'The Adventures of the Little Koala'.
Movie: Alien (1979). I don't need to think about the answer to this. Ha-ha!
Music: my mind here is stuck in the 90's/early 2000's. Although I grew up exposed to my aunt's collection of vintage recordings (think Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, etc.), I preferred the radio, and my program of choice was the Delilah Show. I found she and her selections had a calming effect when I listened, hence many of my favorite tracks are those which Delilah played over and over!
Beer: if it's a trappist beer or a crafty IPA, I probably like it! Most of my preferences derive from micro-breweries. Of these, I like Jacobins sour ale best. As for beers produced by macro-breweries, I like Baltika.
Pokemon: designwise, I like Pikachu. For play, my Pokemon is Scyther.
